Aphaia delivers its first data protection workshop in Madrid

Aphaia delivers its first data protection workshop in Madrid

The workshop took place at Aphaia’s premises and it was focus on privacy, cybersecurity and data protection.

Taking advantage of the first GDPR anniversary, Aphaia decided to deliver a workshop to share our experience with other businesses that may be struggling with data protection issues.

Even though GDPR came into force in 2018, Aphaia has been working alongside a several number of vibrant businesses to help them with data protection since 2016. Our expertise includes such different areas as fintech, e-commerce or software development, which has enriched our expertise and allows us to provide the best possible advice from the relevant perspective.

The workshop was held at our premises in Cink Emprende, Paseo de la Castellana 194, as we opened Aphaia’s Spanish entity early this year. We are very happy of the good reception we are getting from the market and we are very grateful to Cink Emprende, that helped us to set it all up and made this event possible.

The workshop was focused on the trickiest data protection areas we have identified along these years as privacy experts. We talked about the GDPR, but also about the ePrivacy Directive and the NIS Directive, and other national legislation too, as the LSSI (information society services) and the ENS (national security). After a two hours presentation we were pleased to share a network breakfast with the attendants, where we had the chance to further discuss any topic they might be specially interested in or any questions the might have.

We are already working on our next workshop, which will probably be focused on AI. It sounds good, right? Stay tuned if you do not want to miss it!
